Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Prestigious Transport Bahamas ("Prestigious Transport Bahamas," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and all transportation services provided by Prestigious Transport Bahamas.

By booking a service or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
 

1. Our Services

Prestigious Transport Bahamas provides professional transportation services, including but not limited to:

  • Airport transfers

  • Hotel transportation

  • Cruise port transfers

  • Private transportation

  • Executive transportation

  • Wedding transportation

  • Corporate transportation

  • Group transportation

  • Sightseeing and island tours

  • Hourly chauffeur services

All services are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation.
 

2. Reservations

Reservations may be made through our website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, or approved booking partners.

A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive confirmation from Prestigious Transport Bahamas.

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

 

3. Prices

All prices are quoted in the currency specified at the time of booking.

Quoted prices are based on the information provided at the time of reservation.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Additional stops

  • Route changes

  • Waiting time beyond the complimentary allowance

  • Extended service time

  • Vehicle upgrades

  • Special requests

  • Holiday surcharges where applicable

  • Excessive cleaning or damage

Customers will be advised of additional charges whenever reasonably possible.
 

4. Payment

Payment will be required before your trip.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Approved electronic payment methods

Outstanding balances must be settled before completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been approved.
 

5. Cancellations

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the type of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Airport transfers cancelled more than 24 hours before pickup may receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be non-refundable.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
 

6. Flight Monitoring

For airport arrivals, we monitor scheduled flight information whenever flight details are provided.

Reasonable delays caused by airline schedule changes will normally not result in additional charges.

Customers remain responsible for notifying us of any significant itinerary changes as soon as possible.
 

7. Waiting Time

Complimentary waiting time may be provided depending on the service booked.

Additional waiting beyond the complimentary period will incur charges.

If we are unable to contact a customer after reasonable attempts, the booking will be treated as a no-show.
 

8. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers agree to:

  • Treat drivers respectfully.

  • Follow all applicable laws.

  • Wear seat belts whenever required.

  • Follow driver safety instructions.

  • Avoid behaviour that may distract the driver.

  • Always supervise children.

  • Ensure all minors travel with appropriate supervision.

Prestigious Transport Bahamas reserves the right to terminate a trip if passenger behaviour creates a safety risk.
 

9. Vehicle Capacity

Passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the assigned vehicle.

Every passenger must occupy an individual seat equipped with a seat belt where required.

Overloading is prohibited and may result in immediate cancellation of the service without refund.
 

10. Child Safety

Parents and guardians are responsible for requesting child safety seats during the booking process where required.

Availability cannot be guaranteed unless requested in advance.
 

11. Smoking, Vaping and Illegal Substances

Smoking, vaping, and the use of illegal drugs are strictly prohibited inside all vehicles.

Passengers may also not consume illegal substances before or during transportation if doing so compromises safety.

Cleaning fees and service termination may result from violations.
 

12. Alcohol

Alcohol consumption inside vehicles is prohibited.

Intoxicated passengers who pose a safety risk will be refused service.
 

13. Food and Drinks

Food and beverages consumption inside vehicles is prohibited.
 

14. Damage to Vehicles

Passengers are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their group, including:

  • Interior damage

  • Exterior damage

  • Excessive cleaning

  • Vomit

  • Broken equipment

  • Deliberate vandalism

Repair and cleaning costs will be charged to the responsible customer.
 

15. Lost Property

While we make reasonable efforts to assist with recovering lost items, Prestigious Transport Bahamas is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles.

Recovered items may be returned at the customer's expense or collected by prior arrangement.
 

16. Delays Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Traffic congestion

  • Road closures

  • Weather conditions

  • Accidents

  • Public emergencies

  • Government restrictions

  • Airline schedule changes

  • Ferry or cruise delays

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

 

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prestigious Transport Bahamas shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.
 

18. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website unlawfully.

  • Attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

  • Distribute malicious software.

  • Interfere with website operation.

  • Copy or reproduce website content without written permission.
     

19. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, photographs, branding, graphics, and other materials, remains the property of Prestigious Transport Bahamas unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorised use is prohibited.
 

20. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
 

21. Force Majeure

We shall not be considered in breach of these Terms & Conditions where performance is prevented or delayed by events beyond our reasonable control.
 

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Bahamas.
 

23. Changes to These Terms

Prestigious Transport Bahamas may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website and becomes effective upon publication.
